Corals are Gone

I whished it would not have come to this and people would have listened to the warnings. But it is now predicted that over 90% of coral will all be extinct by 2050 this is due to the extreme rise in temperature from climate change. recently I went to Hawaii and Mexico, and I saw the corals it was so sad almost all of them were bleached. this is are reality we must face, corals hold so much biodiversity all these animals that we know and love gone by 2050 and I am not just talking about coral reef animals and other animals, I am also talking about people. People have already been effected clean water is becoming harder and harder to find and just last summer it reached around 102-103° F in Oregon this was one of the hottest years on record and this winter in 2026 it was 69° F just today. I am 12 years old and it really worries me how close we are getting to the climate threshold. but anything we do to further decrease climate change will still matter so don't lose hope for this is a example of more that will come if we don't slow climate change.
